RBG

Let us introduce you to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the second female justice to be confirmed to the Supreme Court of the United States and the first judge to become a bona fide cultural phenomenon. Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who also comes in a mug, a tote bag, a tattoo and a meme, is 85 years old and has shaped the law regarding gender discrimination and women’s reproductive health. Having earned the nickname “The Notorious RBG”, she has openly criticised Trump and has won cases allowing women to stand equally with men in the workplace, as well as at home. She always leads by example, having been married to another lawyer for 63 years who had to remind her to come home at night and then forced her to stop working and go to sleep. Despite the huge obstacles she’s had to negotiate and overcome every step of the way, “RBG” is unexpectedly fun to watch and never really becomes heavy-handed. The only weighty subject it negotiates is RBG’s exercise regime, which keeps her in shape lest she has to retire, which would allow Trump to appoint another Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Long Live RBG!
