Focus on New Spanish Documentary

Exile Room welcomes the new screenings season with a celebration of New Spanish Documentary that will take place in November and December 2022!

Featuring two of the most exciting non fiction films we’ve seen lately, “Tolyatti Adrift” (Visions du Réel, Hot Docs, DOK Leipzig and more) and “Magaluf Ghost Town” (Golden Alexander at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival), this showcase focuses on the best in recent Spanish documentary production.

Filmmaker Laura Sisteró (“Tolyatti Adrift”) will present her film to Greek audiences and will also spearhead a weekend workshop on still photography versus documentary cinematography with cinematographer Carlos Muñoz Gómez-Quintero.

The documentaries will screen with Greek subtitles, while the workshop will take place in English and Greek.

This event is supported by Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) and its Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture (PICE).
