NOVEMBER SCREENINGS: Where the wild things are

Exile Room starts off the screening season with a whole month dedicated to the mysterious, often contradictory and very layered relationship between humans and the natural world, be it fauna or flora. These two unexpected documentaries bridge the gap between dark fairytale and dystopian science fiction, so beware! Things are about to get wild…

 

The screenings are part of the Docs in Exile 2023-24 Documentary Festival, which is implemented under the auspices and with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture.

Lynx Man

A Finnish equivalent of Werner Herzog’s ‘Grizzly Man’, Hannu has a love and connection to nature that surpasses most. It is the rare lynx in particular that has bitten into Hannu’s heart – so much so that he actually claims to be able to speak its language.
